JM RANDALL's journal says Ora received a warrant for a quarter
section of government land for service in US military,
but doesn't say when or in what capacity;
Served in "the days of his young manhood." m. Jane Ann Putnam (b. 1812,
Plattsburgh, Clinton County, NY; d. 1883, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin), 1838, Canton,
St. Lawrence County, New York
James M. RANDALL (b. 1818) James Monroe RANDALL notes in his journal that his uncle, James M. RANDALL, had three sons and three daughters, "most of whom remain near the place of their early home" (Canton, St. Lawrence Co., NY)
